[Review] Dreamy Bows - Bandai Sailor Moon Compacts

Hello everyone!

So I went on a bit of a spending spree due to the Black Friday sales (don't have it in England but some of the online stores I buy from have it!) Dreamy Bows just started stocking the limited edition Sailor Moon products, and to be honest I just had to have the compact set! Such a cute set of designs!

Dreamy Bows is the UK stockist for some of the Japanese Sailor Moon products, so I ordered through their website on the day of release.

[Life] Japan 2014

Hey everyone!

Misadoll here,

Sorry it's been ages since I did a post! But I've just got back from Japan, so I will have some sparkly Japan updates for you all.

This was my 3rd time visiting Japan, and it does sap all my money, but I truly love the place and it was an opportunity to show my family what Japan has to offer! This post will be very picture heavy but I think the pictures really explain how amazing Japan is, more than I could in words <3

Hope you like them!~

[Events] Hyper Japan 2014

Hey everyone! Misadoll here!

This weekend has been super crazy, as Pastel Doll attended Hyper Japan! The event is a huge Japanese culture event based in Earls' Court, London, which introduces all facets of Japanese culture to the masses. There is a lot of pop-culture based stores selling anime, manga, and fashion, but as well as this there are cultural stores which sell traditional Japanese goods and foods.

We had our Pastel Doll stall in the Fringe Market and had an opportunity to meet a lot of new people! We were busy all weekend with lots of customers and we had the most amazing time. :)

[Events] Sunnycon 2014

Hello everyone!

I'm catching up on all the blogging today, finally have a day off to do so!

Pastel Doll attended Sunnycon 2014 a couple of weeks back, and it was a truly amazing experience! We attended a couple of smaller conventions before - Newcastle Con, and Yorkshire Cosplay Con which were really great, and Sunnycon was the icing on the cake for us so far!

We saw so many beautiful outfits and cosplays over the course of the weekend, and some other fabulous stalls, (Wonderbox is really gorgeous!) And an overwhelming amount of people visited our stall which was honestly really amazing for us ;-; We are so happy that people liked our stock.

[Events] Kyary Pamyu Pamyu, London, April 29th

Hello everyone!~

Sorry it's been a while, and this review is a little bit late, but better late then never hopefully!

On the 29th April, me and Celestiadoll went to London to see Kyary Pamyu Pamyu!

I wrote about her before in my short running feature 'Music Monday's' and she is one of my biggest fashion inspirations, as well as having super cute, light-hearted pop music.

The gig was at the O2 Shepard's Bush and we managed to get tickets early because of the O2 priority. All the tickets for the gig eventually sold out so obviously she is very popular!

She played all of her most popular hits, including Ninja Re Bang Bang, Invader Invader, PonPonPon and Fashion Monster.

[Events] Sunnycon Boat Party

Hey everyone!

Sorry it's been a while, us guys have been super busy preparing all our stuff for our upcoming conventions! It's taking us a big longer than we thought to get things going, but hopefully it won't be much longer. :)

So last Saturday, I went to the Sunnycon Boat Party event! It's where you all get on a boat, play some music, have some drinks, and dance around in cosplay!

Lol, we got photobombed. We will have to use our persona powers on him later! From left to right, there is me as Yukiko, female senpai, Chie and Rise! Super fun :)

I went to it last year and it was amazing, so we all decided that it'd be awesome if we could go along again. This year, the weather was terrible to begin with and we were stood outside waiting for the boat to arrive for far too long. I was freezing and the boat was quite late so it was getting a bit frustrating!

However, the rest of the night more than made up for it!

We were all dressed as characters from Persona 4, except for a couple of my friends, Risa was cosplaying from Love Live and we had a DBZ and Bleach (I think?) cosplayers too! It was super fun, and it seems there were quite a few fans of Persona 4 so that's pretty awesome!

[Events] Kitacon 2014

Hey everyone! Yeahhh ridiculous Hello Kitty glasses~ I'm sorry this post is full of selfies (✖╭╮✖)

Hope you're well~ Today I'm gonna write a little about Kitacon, since I've finally recovered from the crazy weekend! Kitacon is an anime convention based in Birmingham, and I've attended 3 of them now - they are always great and it's my main convention so I usually put a lot of time into preparing for it!

Hi all!!

So in the run-up to our website launch, we have some exciting things to share with you at Pastel Doll HQ, fiber colours!

The Dark Fruits Collection epitomises our love for quirky coloured hair, styled with loose feminine curls and a flattering lolita fringe.

Bitterberry: Our very first colour combination, ready to suit any pastel goth co-ord

Sweetberry: Aimed at fairy kei, this sickly sweet combo will be enough to give you toothache

Poisonberry: This striking white topped combination is perfect for gothic and sweet alike

We hope these pictures inspire you to create some amazing co-ords, check out our recent convention pics on the FB page ^o^
